Belgium to support EU sanctions on Iran

In case the EU develops an additional package of sanctions against Iran, Belgium is ready to fully support them, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo told journalists in Brussels, Report informs.
He added that the role that Iran played in the war in Ukraine is becoming more and more obvious, and European countries must respond to this.
The issue of Russian use of Iranian-made drones in Ukraine entered the agenda of discussions of European leaders at the EU summit on October 20-21. In this regard, it is planned to introduce new sanctions against Iran.
At the same time, Russia and Iran deny the use of Iranian drones.
