Belgium allocates funds to stimulate military industry

Belgium has allocated €8 billion to boost its defense industry and research into military technologies, Belgian Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder said at the EU-Ukraine military industry forum, Report informs via TASS.
“Belgium has for the first time allocated 8 billion euros to stimulate research and production in the defense and security sector. The aim is for the sector to increase its research output, staff competence levels and restart industrial production,” Dedonder stated.
