Belarus, Hungary sign memorandum to deepen cooperation in nuclear energy

Belarus and Hungary signed a package of documents following the talks between the foreign ministers in Minsk on May 29.

Report informs via BelTA that the bilateral meeting of Sergei Aleinik of Belarus and Peter Szijjarto of Hungary was followed by a session of the Belarusian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, which they co-chair.

The parties discussed a number of practical issues regarding trade, economic and investment cooperation. The focus was on cooperation in energy, agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, construction, sports, tourism, education and science.

Following the talks, the parties signed the protocol of the meeting of the intergovernmental commission, the program of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary for 2024-2025, a memorandum of understanding to deepen cooperation in nuclear energy between the Energy Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
