Belarus accuses 20 people of conspiracy to seize power

The Investigative Committee (IC) of Belarus has begun proceedings in absentia against 20 people abroad, who are accused of participation in a conspiracy to seize state power and extremism, Report informs, citing the committee.
“The Investigative Committee has begun a process of special proceedings against 20 so-called analysts of [ex-presidential candidate Svetlana] Tikhanovskaya, who joined a conspiracy to seize state power in the Republic of Belarus through unconstitutional means, and joined extremist formations created to ensure the effectiveness of criminal activities,” the committee said.
