Azerbaijani businessman loses all property in Russia's missile strike on Kharkiv

An Azerbaijani businessman has lost all his property in Ukraine’s Kharkiv following Russian missile attacks, Report informs.

Rafig Gadirov, originally from Shaki, Azerbaijan, has lived in Kharkiv for 40 years. His large recreation center and a major bus depot were completely destroyed as a result of the strikes by Russian forces.

“I’ve been living and working here since 1986. I started this business in the early 1990s and built the restaurant, the large recreation center beside it, and one of Kharkiv’s major bus depots with my own hands,” Gadirov said.

“The recreation center was so popular that even people from Russia used to come here before the war. It’s only 25–30 kilometers from Belgorod. But now, nothing is left.”

According to him, more than 10 missiles of various sizes struck the recreation area, flattening the entire site.

“Fortunately, we managed to evacuate people or shelter them in time, so there were no casualties. On top of that, my bus depot nearby was also destroyed during attacks by Russian forces. This area is very close to the Russian border. I’ve lost everything. The damages are in the millions of dollars,” he added.
