Austin: US & partners pledge to provide Ukraine with equipment worth $5B

Since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, the US, its allies and partners have pledged to provide this country with more than $5 billion worth of equipment, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said at the opening of a meeting of defense secretaries at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany, Report informs citing Ukrainian media.
He noted that more than 30 allies and partners from around the world have joined the US to provide security assistance to Ukraine.
This volume includes $3.7 billion that President Biden has pledged, Austin said.
