Austin, Umerov discuss Ukraine's military needs

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustam Umerov had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Lloyd Austin, Report informs.

“I spoke with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. During our conversation, Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles,” the Ukrainian minister said on Facebook.

He thanked Austin for the air defense systems provided by the United States.

Umerov also informed his American colleague about the current situation at the front and the current needs of Ukraine.

“We discussed specific steps that we are going to take to ensure Ukraine’s victory,” he said.
