At least 6 injured in explosion at aluminum plant in northern Italy

An explosion has occurred at an aluminum production plant in the northern Italian city of Bolzano, injuring at least six people, according to the regional branch of the Rai TV channel, Report informs.

One of the victims is in critical condition in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Bolzano.

Four more people were taken to specialized burn centers in Milan and Verona.

Firefighters and police are at the scene.
