At least 19 killed in attacks on Niger villages

Armed individuals massacred 19 people in several villages in Tondikiwidi, 35 km west of Ouallam, in the Tillabéri region, Niger, Report informs, citing ActuNiger.
Two other people were also injured by the attackers, who also looted shops and took away property belonging to the population.
According to local sources, the attackers came Thursday around 4:00 p.m. aboard motorcycles whose circulation has been banned for months in the area due to the climate of insecurity there.
The assailants attacked at least three villages in the Tondikiwindi commune, including Dangazoni 1 and Talbakoira, before retreating.
The victims were buried this Friday in the presence of the authorities of Tillabéri and Ouallam and the defense and security forces (FDS).
