Astana to host meeting of SCO defense ministers

A meeting of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries will be held in Astana on April 26, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, Report informs referring to TASS.

“The arrival of the heads of defense ministries of the SCO member states, its secretary-general, the director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure of the organization and the minister of defense of the Republic of Belarus is expected,” reads the message.

The event is organized within Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the SCO.
