Ashraf Ghani apologizes to Afghan people

Ashraf Ghani, the Afghanistan president who fled the country after the Taliban takeover, has released a statement in this regard, Report informs, citing Ghani's Twitter page.
He said leaving Kabul was the most difficult decision of his life. The ousted president apologized to the people of Afghanistan.
"I believed it was the only way to keep the guns silent and save Kabul and her 6 million citizens," Ghani said.
