Argentina's President convenes extraordinary session of Parliament to consider reforms

Argentine President Javier Milei convened an extraordinary session of parliament for Congress to consider bills with reforms in the field of taxation and the functioning of the state, Report informs via TASS.

"Convene Congress for an extraordinary session from December 26, 2023 to January 31, 2024," the presidential decree says.

The letter in which the government notified Parliament that it would convene outlined 11 topics for consideration, including "a bill to reform the functions of the State."
