The South Korean authorities believe that almost all those aboard the Boeing 737-800 plane that crashed in the country on December 29 have died, Report informs via the Yonhap news agency.
There were 175 passengers and six crew members on board the plane. Two people have been rescued alive.
According to preliminary reports, the crash was caused by a chassis failure due to a birdstrike. The crew tried to belly-land the plane but it failed to slow down and crashed into a wall at the end of the runway.
