Airbus sees steep decline in July aircraft orders

European aerospace corporation Airbus received orders for only 7 aircraft in July, 29 times fewer than in June, when it recorded 207 orders, Report informs with reference to the company’s website.
Since the beginning of the year, Airbus has received orders for 501 aircraft. However, after cancellations, the net figure stands at 405.
Aircraft deliveries to customers in July rose by 6.3%, reaching 67 units. A total of 373 aircraft have been delivered since the start of the year.
Airbus is one of the world’s largest aerospace and defense companies. It consists of divisions such as Airbus SAS, which produces passenger aircraft, as well as Airbus Defence and Space, and Airbus Helicopters.
