Aftermath of massive airstrike on Kyiv - PHOTOS

Ukraine was hit by massive air strikes with more than 250 Shahed kamikaze drones and 15 ballistic missiles early on May 24.

More than half of them targeted the capital city Kyiv. The Ukrainian Air Force Command said that the vast majority of the strikes were neutralized in the air. However, some buildings in the Obolon, Sviatoshyn, Golosevsky and Dniprovskyi districts of Kyiv were seriously damaged.

According to the Kyiv military administration, up to 20 residents were injured in the capital alone, 2 people died, more than 10 apartment buildings were destroyed. A large number of private cars were damaged.

Apart from Kyiv, the Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporozhzhia regions of Ukraine were also hit.
