About 5,000 people evacuated via humanitarian corridors in Ukraine

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said that thanks to the work of humanitarian corridors, 4,892 people have been evacuated over the past day, Report informs citing local media.
Vereshchuk held a briefing where she spoke about the process of evacuation from the combat areas in Ukraine.
“Some 3,686 people traveled from Mariupol and Berdyansk on their own vehicles and buses to Zaporizhzhia. Of these, 1,171 people from Mariupol and 2,515 people from the cities of Polohy, Vasilyevka, Berdyansk, Melitopol and Huliaipole. Some 1,206 people were evacuated from the cities of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Kreminna and the Hirne settlement,” the deputy prime minister noted.
