Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin and Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov have arrived in Brussels to participate in the 9th meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, also known as the Ramstein-format meeting, Report informs referring to the Ukrainian media.
“It’s always a pleasure to meet with my good friend and Ukrainian counterpart, Oleksii Reznikov. The 50+ nations participating in the UDCG stand united with you in this fight for Ukraine’s sovereignty and self-defense,” the Pentagon chief tweeted.
As part of the meeting, which will be held at NATO headquarters, the coalition members will decide on the transfer of aviation to the Ukrainian military.
The participants of the meeting will also discuss the formation of a stockpile of ammunition, the training of the Ukrainian military and the stability of Western support - in particular, logistics, maintenance, repairs and the practical implementation of the Military Schengen.
