6 killed, 48 injured in massive blast at chemical company in India

At least six people were killed and over 48 got injured following an explosion at a chemical factory in Maharashtra's Thane district on Thursday afternoon, officials said, Report informs citing India Today.
The fire started after a boiler explosion inside the Amber Chemical Company located in Dombivli's MIDC area of Thane and soon spread to two to three nearby factory premises.
Upon receiving the information, at least eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot to control the blazes. Videos from the incident site showed huge plumes of smoke coming out from the factory where the fire started.
