5.3-magnitude quake shakes southwest coast of Tonga

A 5.3-magnitude earthquake was reported on the southwest coast of the Kingdom of Tonga, Geoscience Australia said, Report informs.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 500 km southwest of the city of Nukualofa, where 22,400 people live, at a depth of about 520 km.
No casualties or damages were reported, no tsunami threat was declared.
