49 people injured in mass brawl at Berlin school

At least 49 people were injured in a mass brawl at a school in the Neukölln district of Berlin. Students and teachers were provided with outpatient assistance, the Bild newspaper wrote, Report forms via TASS.

The cause of the fight was a disagreement between students. Three teenagers aged 14 and 15 argued with two other students the same age. They sprayed pepper spray against each other. Gradually the scuffle escalated into a fight. When two teachers tried to stop the fight, the students used pepper spray against them. The school principal was also injured; she broke her arm while trying to separate the students.

Police officers arrived at the scene. An older brother of a student attacked a police officer and hit him in the face. He also insulted and threatened law enforcement officers, after which he was temporarily detained. The teenagers involved in the fight were released to their parents.
