4 men killed in US, 1 teen in custody

One teenager is in custody after the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office made a grim discovery at Pleasant Grove Park in Dalton, Report informs referring to Fox 5 Atlanta.

Four Hispanic men were found dead at 11:14 p.m. on Saturday. The deputies had received a call that there had been shots fired in the area.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge Joe Montgomery held a press conference giving more updates about the shooting Sunday afternoon.

Montgomery said officials have no reason to believe this was a gang-related shooting or that any of the victims were illegal immigrants.

"There were multiple weapons involved. We know that because of the multiple shell casings located on the scene," said Joe Montgomery. "We have reason to believe that the motive was robbery, possibly some contraband that was found in the vehicle that was at the scene.

He also confirmed they have made one arrest so far. A 16-year-old from Rome was taken into custody and charged with four counts of felony murder.
