An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 has been recorded off the coast of Oman, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, Report informs referring to TASS.
The epicenter was located 295 km southeast of the city of Salalah, home to 163,000 people. The outbreak lay at a depth of 10 km.
There were no reports of a tsunami threat.
