3 most wanted criminals of Europe detained in Spain

The Spanish Civil Guard has detained three fugitives from the list of the most wanted criminals in Hungary, as well as the European list, Report informs via TASS.

According to the law enforcement agency, the operation was carried out jointly with the Hungarian police. Those arrested also happened to be in the list of the most wanted criminals in Europe, the Civil Guard said. All detainees are Hungarian citizens.

The suspects are linked to the illegal drug trade. In May 2023, law enforcement learned that the perpetrators may have been hiding in the Autonomous Community of Valencia.
