Earthquakes of magnitude 5.7 and 3.9 have been recorded in China, Report informs referring to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 was observed at 6:27 local time in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, near the border with Kazakhstan. The epicenter of the tremors was located 125 km west of the Chinese county of Aksu and 276 km southeast of Almaty. The outbreak lay at a depth of 10 km.
At 9:44 a.m. Beijing time, another earthquake occurred with a smaller magnitude - 3.9 points. It happened in Akchi county. There were no reports of damage or casualties.
