15 killed In Mali road accident

At least 15 people were killed and 46 injured when a bus collided with a truck in central Mali on Monday, the transport ministry said, Report informs via Agence France Presse.
A bus travelling from the central town of Mopti to the capital Bamako "collided with a 10-tonne truck travelling in the opposite direction" between the towns of Kessedougou and Ouan, the ministry said in a statement.
"The provisional toll is 15 dead and 46 injured, some of them seriously," it added.
Civil defence workers transported the victims to the Somino Dolo hospital in Mopti, the statement said.
Road accidents are common in Mali and are generally caused by poor road and vehicle conditions, as well as human error.
