Defense Ministers of Russia, Turkey discuss Karabakh

Defense Ministers of the Russian Federation and Turkey Sergey Shoygu and Hulusi Akar held phone conversation, Report informs citing the TASS.

"During the talks, an exchange of views took place on defense and security issues, including Armenia's attack on Azerbaijan, as well as [on the situation] in Idlib and Libya. During the discussion, Minister H. Akar spoke about the need to stop attacks on civilian settlements, as well as the withdrawal of Armenia from the occupied territories," - approved in the communiqué issued by the Turkish Defense Ministry.

H. Akar also emphasized that "Azerbaijan can no longer wait 30 years to resolve" the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. "Turkey supports Azerbaijan's operation to return its territory," the Turkish Defense Minister added.
