Armenian troops kill disabled civilian in Tovuz

A heartbreaking image in Tovuz district shows how civilian resident of Agdam village Aziz Azizov, 76, was killed as a result of artillery shelling by the Armenian armed forces.

Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva visited the scene and got acquainted with the current situation.

"As it is known, a few days ago, the Armenian government committed another act of aggression against Azerbaijan. We are here as the Commissioner for Human Rights to monitor the situation and report the aggression against the civilian population. After preparing a comprehensive article, we will send it to the relevant international organizations as soon as possible. Armenia has again violated all existing international documents regarding human rights. This is a tragedy that happened when a disabled and elderly civilian was preparing to have dinner. The bread is left on the table."
