Tbilisi. 8 February. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijanis and Georgians have today staged a joint action outside the Georgian parliament to protest against the erection of a bust of Karabakh separatist Mikhail Avagyan in Tbilisi.

Georgian Bureau of Report News Agency informs that the protesters demanded the immediate removal of the bust.

Notably, the bust to Armenian terrorist Mikhail Avagyan was erected in Bugashen settlement of Akhalkalaki city, Georgia. Avagyan, known for his cruel treatment  of Azerbaijani civilians during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and serious war crimes, was killed by the Azerbaijani Army near the Horadiz settlement of Fuzuli region in 1994.

Erection of the monument to the Armenian separatist has sparked protests.
