Azerbaijani parliament members to return from vacations starting August 30

Members of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) will return from vacation tomorrow, Report informs.

According to the Internal Regulations of the Milli Majlis, the vacation period of the MPs continues until August 30.

According to the first article of the Internal Charter (basics of the activities of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan), the Milli Majlis is on vacation twice a year - from July 15 to August 30 and from January 1 to 15. MPs are considered to be on vacation during the vacation period. When an extraordinary session of the Milli Majlis is convened during the vacation period, the vacation is suspended for the duration of the extraordinary session, and the MPs are recalled from vacation for that period.
