Azerbaijani parliament wraps up its spring session

The 2024 spring session of the Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) has ended with the plenary meeting of parliament held on May 31, Report informs.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova mentioned that 13 meetings were held during the spring session and 61 laws were adopted.

Gafarova added that two new laws were adopted, 50 laws were amended, and 9 international agreements were approved in the specified period.

The session was closed with the singing of the National Anthem at the meeting presided by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova.

According to the Internal Regulations of the Milli Majlis, the spring session begins on February 1 and lasts until May 31.
