Samad Seyidov to attend PACE Standing Committee meeting in Iceland

Samad Seyidov, the Chairman of the International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee of the Azerbaijani parliament, and head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will visit Reykjavík, Iceland, to attend the meeting of the PACE Standing Committee on May 14, Report informs.
At the meeting of the standing committee, opinions will be exchanged on “The Council of Europe as a key player of the multilateral architecture”, and “The Council of Europe as a pioneer of human rights protection: the new generation of rights”.
The Committee Chairman will also join a round table on the theme "A democracy fit for the future."
The visit will end on May 16.
