S. Korean presidential envoy arrives in Azerbaijan

Special Envoy of the President, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Suh Byung-soo has arrived in Azerbaijan.

He has visited the parliament, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani parliament.

During his meeting with Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, an exchange of views took place on a number of issues of mutual interest.

It was noted that on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, the concepts of "Smart City" and "Smart Village", as well as "Green Energy Zones" are being implemented in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. The interest of the Azerbaijani side in cooperation with South Korean companies in these areas was emphasized.

The meeting was attended by the head of the working group on inter-parliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and Korea Malik Hasanov, the head of the Azerbaijani Parliamentary Staff Farid Hajiyev, South Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Eun-Yong and other officials.
