Public hearings on the topic of 'Return to Western Azerbaijan: Legal Aspects' are underway in Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan).
According to Report, the event is organized by the Committee on Legal Policy and State Construction of the Milli Majlis.
The event participants will exchange views on the mass deportation of Azerbaijanis from their ancestral lands - present-day Armenia, the legal aspects of return to Western Azerbaijan, the legal assessment of crimes, committed by Armenians and other issues.
The hearings involve Milli Majlis deputies, members of the Western Azerbaijan Community, representatives of law enforcements bodies, legal scholars and researchers, civil society representatives and experts.
