As part of their visit to Azerbaijan's liberated territories, participants of the International Parliamentary Conference (IPC) first visited the Fuzuli district, Report informs..
The delegation was welcomed by the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts. The guests first arrived at Fuzuli International Airport and then visited Fuzuli city.
They were informed about the destruction and acts of vandalism committed by Armenia in the Fuzuli district during the 30-year occupation, as well as the work carried out and planned by the Azerbaijani state after liberation. It was noted that Armenian vandals looted and razed Fuzuli city, like other occupied cities and villages. All houses, social facilities were destroyed, and farms were demolished. After the victory in the Patriotic War, large-scale restoration and reconstruction work began in the liberated territories. Former IDPs have already started returning to their homeland. They are settling in the residential complex built in Fuzuli city.
The delegation then departed for Shusha. They were accompanied by Rafael Huseynov, Vice-Speaker of the Milli Majlis, committee chairs Ahliman Amiraslanov, Samad Seyidov, Polad Bulbuloglu, Tural Ganjaliyev (MP elected from Khankandi city), and other officials.
