Specially trained groups on social networks attack immediately when someone expresses an opinion about Iran's religious policy, said Jeyhun Mammadov, a member of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) Committee for Public Unions and Religious Institutions, Report informs.
The parliamentarian said that the state institutions are taking some steps in this regard: "Still, there is a need for rapid implementation of reforms in this process."
The deputy was also dissatisfied with the activities of NGOs in the country. He said that about 1,000 of the 4,000 NGOs in the country are active: "The reality is that the state bears the entire burden. I believe that all NGOs, as well as political parties, and organizations working in the field of religious activities, should contribute more to the process.”
