Parliament Speaker: Zangazur Corridor to create great opportunities for region and Europe

"The implementation of the Zangazur Corridor, which will play an important role in the development of the transport infrastructure of the region and the Turkic world, will be another result of the political and diplomatic skill of the President of Azerbaijan. This project will strengthen the transit potential of our country, create broad opportunities not only for the region but also for Europe," Speaker of Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova said at today's plenary session of the parliament.

According to her, among the strategic roadmaps defined by the head of state, the Great Return to Karabakh is of particular importance: "As you know, immediately after the liberation of the territories destroyed during the Armenian occupation, large-scale restoration and reconstruction work began on these lands. Relying on its own financial resources, Azerbaijan is restoring the destroyed cities and villages, building new infrastructure projects on its ancestral lands. The reintegration of these territories into the country's economy will give a great impetus to the development of Azerbaijan."
