MP offers to name Azerbaijan's highest mountain peak after president

“Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev has a special and irreplaceable role in the Patriotic War (the 44-day second Karabakh war),” MP Sahib Aliyev told today’s parliamentary session, Report informs

He said that mountain peaks should be named after servicemen, military formations: “The liberated highest mountain peak belongs to the Murovdagh mountain ranges. This peak should be named after Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Let the Milli Majlis come up with this initiative.”
