MP: Azerbaijani television, radio should prepare programs aimed at our compatriots living in Iran

Azerbaijani television and radio stations should prepare programs aimed at our compatriots living in Iran, MP Jeyhun Mammadov said at the plenary session of the parliament, Report informs.

According to him, a number of Iranian news agencies, as well as television channels, especially the Sahar channel, are constantly saying nonsense about the President and the people of Azerbaijan: "Iranian radios are also interfering in the air of Azerbaijan. At the same time, certain pages are created on social networks, and propaganda against our country is continued using the names of different peoples living in Azerbaijan. Discussions have been going on for a long time regarding the interference of Sahar TV and Iranian radios in the airs of Azerbaijan, but this issue has not yet been resolved. We should seriously consider this."

MP said that television and radio programs should be prepared for Azerbaijanis living in Iran: "We should also start propaganda work in various languages, especially in Persian and Arabic, to convey the truths of Azerbaijan to the world and expose Armenian brutality. For example, brother Turkiye's TRT TV channel broadcasts in different languages and conveys the country's truths to the world. We should take such steps to strengthen our victory in the information war."
