Milli Majlis sends requests to int'l organizations regarding early parliamentary elections

Milli Majlis has appealed to the international organizations, in connection with the parliamentary elections scheduled for February 9, the Head of the Parliament's Office Safa Mirzayev told Report.

Mirzayev said that they had sent official requests to all international organizations to invite them to observe the parliamentary elections:

"Parliament has sent an official request to PACE, OSCE PA, CIS PA, BSEC PA, TURKPA, OIC PA, and GUAM PA to observe the elections. As Milli Majlis is not a member of the European Parliament, we have not appealed to them."

Early parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are to take place on February 9, 2020.
