Speakers of Azerbaijani and Armenian parliaments convene for bilateral talks in Geneva - UPDATE

The speakers of the parliaments of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Sahiba Gafarova and Alen Simonyan, respectively, had a bilateral meeting within the framework of the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, on March 22, Report informs referring to AZERTAC.

In the meeting, the issues of how the parliaments of the two countries can support the peace process against the background of the ongoing peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia were considered.

The parties agreed to consider the possibilities of dialogue at the parliamentary level.

The meeting took place in a constructive environment.
