Families of martyrs & veterans of Azerbaijan’s Patriotic War to get tax incentives

Material assistance in the amount of up to 10,000 manats, provided to families of the martyrs of the Patriotic War, military personnel and civilians, whose disability was established as a result of military operations, will be exempt from income tax in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

In this regard, it is proposed to amend Azerbaijan’s Tax Code.

In another proposed amendment to the Tax Code, banks and credit organizations are exempted from paying taxes on income when writing off loans to martyrs or those wounded in the Patriotic War.
