Committee chairman: Azerbaijan will purchase another 5 million vaccine doses

"Azerbaijan is planning to purchase another 5 million doses of coronavirus vaccines, " Ahliman Amraslanov, chairman of the Health Committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament, said at the plenary session of the parliament today.
Report quotes Amraslanov as saying that there is no shortage of vaccines in the country today: "We face a problem of a small number of citizens who want to be vaccinated. Each of us must take an active part in educating people about the vaccination process. Currently, Azerbaijan is inoculating its citizens above 40 years of age. We believe that immunization of citizens under the age of 40 will begin soon.
