Chairman of parliamentary committee: Iran can’t ‘digest’ independence of Azerbaijan

Iran can’t “digest” the independence of Azerbaijan, said Ziyafat Asgarov, Chairman of the Defense, Security and Anti-Corruption Committee of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

He said that the order for the murder of academician Ziya Bunyadov came from Iran.

Asgarov noted that it is no coincidence that Iran, which cooperates with Armenia, is behind the terrorist act against MP Fazil Mustafa: “Those who set a trap against Azerbaijan will fall into this trap themselves.”
