Candidates start submitting documents to register for parliamentary elections

Starting December 21, the candidates will submit necessary documents to the district electoral commissions for participation in early parliamentary elections.

Report informs that under the "Calendar plan of main actions and measures for preparation and conduction of early parliamentary elections to Milli Majlis," the candidates must submit the required election documents to the district electoral commissions in maximum 50 days before voting.

The candidate, or his authorized agent, or the authorized representative of the political party or the bloc of political parties can submit the documents.

The process will end 30 days before voting - at 18.00 on January 10.

Early parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are due on February 9, 2020.
