Bill on implementation of 2024 state budget submitted to Azerbaijani Milli Majlis

The bill on the implementation of the 2024 state budget has been submitted to the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan.

Report informs that the bill will be discussed next week in the parliament's Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee.

In 2024, the revenues of the Azerbaijani state budget exceed 37.16 billion manats ($21.86 billion), while expenditures amounted to roughly 37.72 billion manats ($22.19 billion).

These are 5.5% and 3.5% more, respectively, compared to 2023.

As a result, last year the budget had a deficit of 555.5 million manats ($326.76 billion), or 0.4% of gross domestic product. This is 37.1% less than the previous year.
