Azerbaijani speaker: Recep Tayyip Erdogan secured convincing victory

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a great politician and statesman of the Turkic world, secured a convincing victory in the presidential election held in Türkiye on May 28, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova said at the plenary sitting on Tuesday, Report informs.

“The victory gained in the conditions of real democracy made the people of Azerbaijan happy. We are sure that under the leadership of Erdogan, the dynamic development of brotherly Türkiye will take a new dimension in the coming period. We will witness the new successful results of the Turkish-Azerbaijani friendship and brotherhood,” she said.
