Azerbaijani parliament speaker to leave for Turkiye

A parliamentary delegation led by Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova will visit the Turkish city of Antalya on January 8 for participation in the 13th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
Report informs, citing the press and public relations department of the Milli Majlis, that the delegation includes chairman of the committee on culture Ganira Pashayeva, MPs Ilham Mammadov, Anar Mammadov, Aydin Huseynov, and other officials.
The delegation will participate in the discussion of issues included into the agenda of the plenary session and express Azerbaijan's position.
As part of the visit, the speaker will hold a number of meetings with heads of the delegations who will participant in the event.
