Azerbaijani Parliament adopts bill ‘On Energy’ in first reading

The Milli Mejlis (Parliament) adopted the bill "On Energy" in the first reading, Report informs.

The purpose of the bill is to determine the general legal, economic and management bases of activity in the field of energy, as well as ensuring energy security, forming a healthy competitive environment, supporting sustainable economic development, and providing consumers with reliable, high-quality, accessible and safe energy.
