Azerbaijan to make concessions to specialists working in liberated territories 

Azerbaijan will make concessions and give privileges to specialists working in the liberated territories, Report informs, citing a draft amendment to the Labor Code adopted by the Azerbaijani Parliament in the third reading.

According to the new article, specialists working in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan have the right to use the concessions and privileges provided for in the Code and other laws in cases where the following conditions coexist:

- If the employer is registered in the liberated territories;

- If the place of work of specialists under the employment contract is located in the liberated territories;

- If the specialists settle in the liberated territories.

The bill will enter into force on January 1, 2023.
