Azerbaijan tightening measures against parents who involve their children in pornographic films

In Azerbaijan, legal actions will be taken against parents who involve minor children in pornographic filming, Report informs with reference to the proposals to amend the law “On the Prevention of Homelessness and Juvenile Delinquency.”

According to the amendment, in Article 17.2.2 of the law, the line “to commit crimes or engage in prostitution” is changed as follows - “to commit crimes, engage in prostitution and participate in pornographic filming.”

This article provides for representatives of internal affairs bodies to take measures provided for by the legislation of Azerbaijan against parents who have involved a minor in committing a crime, engaging in prostitution, or other immoral acts.

Once the amendments are adopted, employees of internal affairs bodies are obliged to take appropriate measures also in relation to parents who involve minor children in participating in pornographic filming.
